The 100,000 Homes Campaign is a national movement of communities working together to find permanent homes for 100,000 of the country’s most vulnerable homeless individuals and families by July of 2013.
Coordinated by Community Solutions and supported by a broad base of national and local partners, the Campaign is fundamentally altering America’s response to homelessness by giving communities concrete tools that work and connecting them to likeminded advocates across the country.
They are working towards ending homelessness in the United States through their model, which emphasizes:
- Building the local team;
- Clarifying the demand;
- Lining up the supply of housing and services;
- Moving people into housing; and
- Helping people stay housed.
